Watching via sopcast. I can't really make out who is playing where, but from what I can gather it looks like Bocanegra is starting (and wearing the armband).

Also, Liam, CJ, and Smertin are getting some good touches in early. Doesn't look like Dempsey is starting.

    1-0 FULHAM!!!!!
Diop header from a freekick, atrocious marking, absolutely brutal.

    ------------Nemi---------
    Volz---Pearce----Boca----Que
    -------Diop------Smertin ----
    Liam---------------------Timlin
    -------John-------Healy

Interesting seeing Liam on the rightwing, he's doing well so far.

So far Healy looks like a stiff, nocticeably poor :(

Lets hope its just a bad half, but I doubt it.

Agreed on Healy. I'll give him a pass since it is pre-season and the conditions are horrible (turf + ungodly humidity / heat)

Also, with all the chances created and not put away, I am reminded of the USMNT.

Ah, apparently Dempsey is getting married. How silly of him to schedule it during a Fulham pre-season game :)

This is the first time I have seen Timlin and must say he looks S-L-O-W.

Another corner another goal, this time Healy heads in. Three goals off three set pieces, no exaggeration this is the worst marking I've ever seen, keeping in mind that I've watched a lot of Minnesota Thunder games. Its ugly stuff from the South China defenders.

McHead scores with this...foot? Fulham's 4th goal comes from a game of through-ball ping pong. There were, I think, at least 3 passes that could have been a "final pass" but finally the third (or 4th?) found McBride who tapped it in.

Good result, albeit against poor opposition, but still have to look at the positives. Fulham scored off three set pieces, which is fantastic. (although Spencer mentioned above that it was some rather poor defending on South China's part)

So what is that now... four friendlies? 3 wins and 1 loss?

If anyone happens to come across some video of the match please post it on this thread.

    cheers

They basically won this game with their B-team. Nice result, but I wouldn't get too excited...
