Yes its early. But I'll be live in person for this one. Excited to go for the first time since 2016. I won't start with an analysis or anything, others are way more qualified for that, but I'm going 3-1 with a prediction! All three goals scored on Hammersmith end. And a celebration in SW corner. And I'm on TV. And Ream personally comes over to our group. That's all

@dtowndough that is awesome you'll be there! I should have sent you my 2015-16 Tim Ream jersey to help get his attention since that would clearly indicate you are a dedicated Ream fan. I hope all your predictions come true. Enjoy that strong dollar while you are over there by getting yourself lots of Fulham swag. And don't get so blitzed that you forget the experience since we'll want to hear what it was like.

I should have asked sooner. Are there 2-3 better pubs to go to for pregame that are better or anything around the cottage is good?

DTown, not making the journey myself until next Spring, but have heard when others have asked that The Crabtree and The Bricklayers Arms are good pubs. The Golden Lion is legendary, but have read good/bad reviews.

    PS: Have a great time!!!!

This one will be on Peacock with kickoff at 10am EDT. Be sure to look for @dtowndough in the Hammersmith End! He's the one who looks like... ummm... uhhh.... I have no idea what he looks like, but you'll know him when you see him!

Silva said that Robinson is doubtful for this match and we already know that Palhinha will be serving his one game suspension. Wilson and Solomon are still a ways off from rejoining the team. There were also some hints from Silva that not everyone returning from international appearances will be ready to go on Saturday and that probably means Mitrovic who picked up an ankle injury. On the plus side, Kurzawa will be available.

Newcastle have their own injury issues with Isak, Krafth, Shelvey, and Darlow out. Wood and Saint-Maximin are also questionable. They haven't won since the opening match against Nottingham Forest, but they only have one loss at the hands of Liverpool. Everything else as been a draw from Wolverhampton all the way up to Manchester City.

I think this one depends a lot on who is able to take the pitch. Fulham will certainly be at a huge disadvantage without Palhinha and if Mitrovic and Robinson are out too it may be very difficult to pick up points. I would love to see Mitrovic play against his old team after getting four goals over the break because I'm sure he'd like to make a statement.

    From bad to worse….

Hopefully dtown at least found a nice pub.

I’m going to find it hard to pay attention to the second half.

Oh @dtowndough , I'm so sorry you had to see this..

So it shouldn't get any worse than that, right? There were so many things working against Fulham in this match - inferior players at left back, right back, and central defense followed by an early red. While I think it was a soft red, Chalobah's tackle was incredibly stupid. Hopefully he never makes it into a Premier League match again - he is absolutely unreliable. Sadly, I think Fulham got better in the second half when both Kurzawa and Mbabu came off. I know it was a tough situation to be thrown into, but those two were a huge disappointment.

The late goal was nice - Fulham earned a draw in the second half!

I ended up skipping the 2nd half and took the dogs for a walk. I think it was a better use of my time.

On the plus side I coached my kids team to victory this afternoon.

It's a bump. Getting the team ready and confident to play again is how Silva will earn his keep. Taking a look back at the second half will help -- we matched them and gave them a fight despite being a man down and having to change formation on account of having no actual left backs. Not to mention Mitro's knock; I fervently hope he's all recovered by the London derby.

Marco made mistakes in selecting the lineup, and he'll know it and learn from it. I hope we don't have to see Chalobah for a very long time. I thought Tom Cairney illustrated his value to the team when he came on. Kebano also helped elevate our level, but he might not have had any more in the tank after getting beat up on international duty.

I wonder if Marco wishes we had kept Francois, though I don't know if that would have worked out with the Premiership roster rules.

Jedi should be back next weekend. Kebano should be in good enough shape to get significant minutes. Palhinha back to regular duty. I hope Mitro's, Tete's, Kurzawa's and Willian's injuries are mild. Let's go beat West Ham and put this weekend behind us.

The only positive from this one might be Shad’s programme notes. I don’t know how he determines when he’s going to compose them, but this edition was better than usual, in my humble opinion. He covered a lot of ground, devoting significant space to subjects most of us overseas supporters don’t give much thought to. The club foundation, the women’s team, the tribute to a relatively little known former player, Fred Callaghan, shout outs to the new arrivals and the departing players, and a truly heartfelt personal remembrance of Her Majesty from the unique perspective of his upbringing in Pakistan. All in all, pretty good stuff, much better than the generic rah-rah musings we usually see from his missives. Too bad the performance on the pitch didn’t match the quality of the Chairman’s effort. One of the points he also made, however, is that the club is in much, much better shape this season than in previous recent Premier League campaigns, today’s result notwithstanding. I won’t go so far as to say he jinxed us, but I hope we play a helluva lot better next time he gets the urge to pen some thoughts.

Yep. That could not have gone any worse!!!! Still hard to be upset after getting to go to the cottage! We looked at each other after the red and said "welp, not getting the result we wanted today." It just went from bad to worse. We did make it on TV though, only because we were first row for the 3 first half goals. 0-2 for me and the cottage!
