Thursday morning is NOT too early to get ginned up for a Monday night match. I won't be getting a chance to see this one until Friday [cue Willie Nelson].

When I finally got to watch the Watford match, the only player I saw who looked out of touch for most of the match was Liam, and I'm not sure of the injury situation, so ...

    Niemi

    Voltz Pearce Boca Q-drew

    Routledge Papa C Jensen Brown

    BMB HH

Attack from the wings [Routledge, Q, Voltz] early and often and I like our chances -- especially w/Brian on form.

3-0 the good guys! What say you?

I am not sure. We have somce NY-area members who might be able to better answer this. Being that you are in NYC, I would guess the answer would be yes.

Is it me or has it seemed like an eternity since Fulham last played a match? I know it was only 10 days ago, but I feel it has been a month or so.

I am not sure what to think about this game. Charlton is going to be very, very, very desperate for a win. We MUST come out and play to win. I feel this match is a must win for Fulham and it is a key going forward. If Fulham can beat a struggling Charlton team at home, it will show the rest of the league that Fulham is above the relegation mix and has real aspirations for a top-ten finish.

If Fulham loses, they will once again be thrown into the relegation mix. We all do not want that to happen.

The game is on FSC and McBride and HH better be starting up front for us. I predict 2-1 Fulham.

RE: FULHAM v. Charlton [R] -- Village Bar

Here's the FSC bar list for the Northeast: http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/1288602

The only place I've ever been in the Village for footy is Nevada Smith's (and American Mike can explain why there are some of us who'd rather not go there). The area used to be an old stomping ground of mine, but I never went to bars there to watch sports.

This should be an interesting match. Charlton doesn't really have a strong defense, but can score goals. Fulham is either dead on or totally off when it comes to defense, and has shown scoring goals can be a problem. mmm.

    My lineup:
    Superhero Niemi
    Rosenior, Knight, Pearce, Quuu
    Routledge, Brown, Diop, Radz
    McBride, HH

Sometime during the match I want C. Jensen to make an appearance. But since he's coming back from injury a start may be to risky.

Prediction: A win would be great, but I'm guessing it ends in a draw.

Don't think Boa is going to be ready on Monday, pard. Hopefully, he'll be back before too long. We need him on the left.

I predict 3-1 Fulham. We got 3 goals on Watford and they have a pretty good defense. Charlton isn't much better, so 3-1 sounds right. And Charlton has some very good strikers.

I am looking forward to this match seeing as night games at the Cottage are always special, but its going to be a tough one with Charlton, like Watford, looking to get out of the bottom. They will bring some fans, even for a Monday night because they need them.

I really like the look of Rumstoves line up and I can see us winning 2-1 with it. Hopefully C. Jensen will get some time on the field against his old club and show us his old form.

Well, as has been the case lately, I'll be unable to watch this live. The missus will tape it for me and, as soon as I get out of work [even if it's midnight], I'll put on my FulhamUSA shirt before I check the scores. Think it's a talisman for the team. Although I didn't have access to my computer at the time, I think we were down 2-0 against Watford when I put the shirt on.

    COYW Get Some Addicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And all you guys on the right side of the pond, yell your lungs out for the rest of us!

Interesting article, but hardly the match "preview."

Looks like Claus might get a run out though.

Yes, I was a bit taken back with that expecting the usual preview, but we are bound to see Claus out on the pitch today.

Rummy's line-up looks spot on (to me). Super Whites win: 3-0.

(I am in the San Francisco Bay Area, but cannot meet up with anyone at a pub for the match, dangit!)
