Ok...another must win!! Haha, I guess they are all must wins eh?!

Line ups please (assuming everyone is healthy), Boa's back and Bouba are back. <---------Peanut butter Jelly time

    Crossley

Liam----Boca----Goma----N. Jensen (I swear, if Boca has to play left back every game that Volzy is out then I'm going to freak)

    Radz---Steeeed----Bouba----Boa

    McBride----Heidar

Yup, thats right, I did it. I put McBride and Heidar i the same line up. They are the same type of player and I think that they both have an understanding of how each other plays, thus they would be able to connect more frequently on flicked headers.

Please give a shout out to NJGlen who is attending this match in person as well as Bri (who flew from Hawaii) to see this match.

Midfield is key in this game. I am sure Blackburn is going to come out playing their tough, physical game as they always do. That being said, players like Bouba and Boa need to keep their heads in the game and not let clowns like Robbie Savage rile them up.

I would like to see Boca and Goma in the center of defense. The two have played well alongside one another. If Volzy cannot play, then put Liam at right back and N. Jensen at left as Mike said above.

I think if our midfield bosses the middle of the park as I expect them to do, we will win 2-0.

Why not? I think it's a good idea to put Heidar in the starting XI (for more than just a few sub minutes) and get an idea of what he can do. I would definitely like to see it.

Man, it'll be Bouba and Boa back in the midfield again!

I'll be offline this weekend (was looking forward to trying the new matchday chat), so....COYWs!

Leacock should get a chance at RB. He is a CB, but its better than having Niclas Jensen at LB. Maybe John could play on the right side of midfield and Heidar and Mcbride start. Radz hasnt done anything to start for Fulham and John has played well on the right side this season.

No way, I would rather have N. Jensen there than Leacock. We have know idea what type of shape/skill Leacock has this season since he hasn't started a EPL game yet this year. Atleast wek now that Niclas can do the job some of the time.

Radz has been doing a great job passing but not scoring. I agree that maybe he needs to sit to get his head straight but who do you put in place?? John is probably the only answer there. Leggy can't play the right midfield and C. Jensen is hurt.

    craven cottage

The cottage is becoming a fortress this season, we have beaten good teams there, Liverpool, Man city, Bolton and not so good Blackburn. I am in no way complaining because winning at home will probably be enough to stay up this season, but can anyone tell me how we can play with what was obviously a sub standard line up today, score two goals and get all three points, why oh why cant we get some results away from home. I mean did you see Brum today they were pitiful thats probably the worse premier team i have seen, and everyone was tipping them to beat City today purely and simply cause they beat us. It just baffles me how this Fulham sqaud could lose to an outfit like that, but do you know that Boxing day is notorious for upsets, not like it used to be, I remember seeing Fulham beat Ipswich 10-1 one Boxing day, buts lets hope for the upset of all upsets, I honestly believe this Fulham team is about due a big big game away from the Cottage.

    Fulham v Blackburn

A good win today,Blackburn are a very physical team and bullied us to defeat at home last season but today we held our nerve despite losing Collins John and Bouba. I thought Helguson and McBride linked up well and they look worth another try together, especially against the rougher sides. The defence weren't too bad(Knight's goal apart)but the sooner Volz and Boca are back the better. In midfield we didn't do badly considering both Steed and Claus Jensen were missing. The referee was useless (as ever) so all in all a good result.

A big win for FUlham for sure. Like Atlanta John, I am a bit miffed as to why this team plays so well at home and so lousy on the road. I understand it is tougher to win on the road, but this team is like night and day on the road and at home.

While the Boxing Day match will be tough, anything is possible. I am cautiously optimistic about this one. I would be delighted with a draw.

Good point Tom, but we've had some criminal refereeing decisions go against us(Newcastle,Wigan, etc)and I really think that its happened too often for it to be coincidence. This is even being acknowledged in some parts of the media now and one satellite programme thought we should be eight points up on our present position(don't know which one,but its on the official messageboard). The law of averages says we have to win away sometime, lets hope we start on Boxing Day.

I agree there have been some refereeing decisions that have not gone our way, but I also think the focus and mental approach to road games needs to change with this team. We have been close on a number of occasions, but can't quite get over the hump. I am confident though that this team will find a way and ultimately break through on the road in the near future.

I have much, much more confidence in this season's team than I did in last season's. I do not see any possible way for this team to be relegated. We are a strong team and our home form has been splendid. If this keeps up, we will be a tough team to beat both at home and potentially on the road.
