Well, the long-awaited Rovers home match originally scheduled for August will be played on Wednesday. Time for the lads in white to go out and stuff Blackburn like a Thanksgiving turkey.

We kept these assholes [and those at Hull City] in the Prem last season by dropping six points to them, and they're showing a bit of form recently, having made me smile by shoving Megson closer to the toilet on Sunday. David Dunn is playing brilliantly, so we'll need JP and the Alien back in top form guarding the wings. Duff MUST come back, and it would be nice to have either AJ or Kamara to run off Zamora, but I think we should reasonably expect 3 points. As a matter of fact, three on Wednesday and three on Saturday should make the grumpiest of donkeys happy.

The match is at 2 o'clock central, and those of us without lives can try to find a link or listen to GJ. Setanta will be showing it tape delayed -- tape delayed on Wednesday? I just don't know.

heh.. TD the Saturday game too.. but at least it's on.

At least it's televised.. On BS some Crew Fan was crowing about Spurs pounding Wigan and someone replied: "They're on TV here, WHEN?"

Mike does the game post on the sidebar, I look up the sched and I didnt even think, I went to 'Saturday', automatically. That's why the time changed from 5 to 6:45. Saturday's is shown at 5.

Both Wednesday's and Saturday's games are on LIVE on Setanta Xtra, available to at least DirecTV Setanta subscribers as well as in soccer bars. I will be watching Wednesday's game live at Kitty O'Shea's in Arlington, VA, a few blocks from the Courthouse Metro stop, if anybody want to join me.

Hooray for Setanta becasue I can watch this after work! Or

Hooray for my dvr because I will be able to watch this after work whenever I choose!

Either way Fulham need 3 points here just becasue I don't want to watch the Whites give Allardyce any points for Thanksgiving. I realize Big Sam probably does not celebrate Thanksgiving but I don't want him to celebrate points on Wednesday either.

    COYW!

Somebody needs to kick some ass to make up for the past Saturday at Brum. I've a feeling Duff will lead the Whites to a victory (I'm sure he's not carrying any anger or hunger or anything like that...).

I hope the entire squad plays with quite a chip on their collective shoulder in hopes to make up for their #&$^@ performance last weekend.

Will be listening to GJ -- the Thanksgiving familiy party does not start until after the game will be over.

What everyone else said about Bolton, the worst team on the eyes in the league, and 3 pts at home. COYW

Here's today's starting lineups. GJ's heart quickened when he saw it.

    Fulham v Blackburn line-ups:
Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Dempsey, Greening, Baird, Duff, Zamora, Nevland.
Subs: Zuberbuhler, Seol, Gera, Etuhu, Smalling, Davies, Dikgacoi.
Blackburn: Robinson, Jacobsen, Samba, Nelsen, Chimbonda, Andrews, Dunn, Grella, Diouf, Di Santo, Roberts.
Subs: Brown, McCarthy, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Kalinic, Hoilett, Salgado.
    Referee: Stuart Attwell (Warwickshire)

I'm still not convinced at the efficacy of starting Nevland [if he's only good for 18 or so minutes, why not make them the LAST 18 minutes?] but Roy is smarter than me, so ... .

    well.

hmmm; Seol is the bench "striker." EJ played in a reserve match last night for 90 minutes and scored.

Man, I hate that I missed this one. I did manage my way to the chatroom for the last 3 minutes. Oh well, internet highlights to come hopefully.

Sounds like Clint celebrated Thanksgiving by making Blackburn look like turkeys. Roy (with Nevland's help) verified that he is indeed smarter than our HatterDon. And Fulham took all 3 points with a clean sheet to boot.

Nailed it Sir Nev. THE difference between last Saturday and today was Duff. What a signing!

If the difference between last Saturday and today was Duff the difference between the first half and the second half was allowing the midfielders to touch the ball. The ball was played over the midfield far to often in the first half. Duff and Dempsey both moved the ball quickly and incisively in the second half and kept Blackburn under pressure. The 3-0 win is a great way to start the Thanksgiving holiday!
