much like going on that next date after your significant other breaks your heart...there's another match this weekend.

we may be down, but we can still win a match away (just dont bring the fam). and reading are vulnerable at the back, so mcgod, kamz, and healy should do well.

[sorry, thats all i can come up with. please god, help us.]

... as the days dwindle down ... to a precious few ...

I thought I was too sick and disgusted to watch another match, and then I thought. HEY, YOU ASSHOLE, WHO KNOWS WHEN YOU'LL GET A CHANCE TO WATCH THE WHITES LIVE AGAIN?!?

So I'll be there and, if the laptop's demonic possession has cleared up, I'll be in the chatroom also.

The "preparing for next season" lineup:

    -------------- Batista ------------------

    Omozusi ---- Leijer ---- Baird ---- Boca

    --------------- Volzy -------------------
    Davies ---------------------- Bouazza
    ------------- Dempsey -----------------

    ------- Healy ------ Johnson ----------

Prediction 1: there will be Americans in both uniforms.

Prediction 2: goals [note the plural] will be scored

Play w/some heart, some pride, for the badge on front of the shirt and not the name on the back.

I don't know what makes me crazier...following sports teams that always lose, or thinking that those teams will always win...

...either way it will be 6-0 to the whites.

    Seriously.

Unfortuately for FFC, Reading still has a good deal to play for and FFC is on the road = 2-1 to Reading. All in all, a 2-1 loss won't sting as much if the entire first XI actually play like they give a fuck this week.

I'd like to see Batista, Omozusi and Leijer play. I think we need to take a look at the players who will help with promotion next year and beyond. I have a feeling, though, that Roy will fight at least until we're mathematically eliminated.

If we are eliminated, and I still am not ready to concede, I agree some of the younger players should play. I would like to see Matt Briggs get some Premier League experience. If we go down, Boca won't be around. He will either be with another Premier Club, likely one coming up, or Coventry. Cookie Coleman wants him. It is the last year of his contract.

i wouldn't mind seeing him at Coventry seeing as how he isn't going to play under Roy. Love Cookie!

I think Roy HAS to play what he thinks is our best lineup, Birmingham is not a juggernaught, in fact they are nearly as bad as we are, so we can still stay up but it will take 3 wins and 2 ties to make it happen (of course Birmingham will have to cooperate with 3 ties and no wins). VERY unlikely, but not impossible. Bolton is going down so I don't think we need to worry about them, IMHO.

We don't know who will be on the

    Enough talk...

It's the day before another big, big match and I'm sure everyone's optimism is higher than it was last Sunday. How could it not be?!

A loss here and it is well and truly over. A draw does us no good.

The players have been preaching the importance to us once again

    Keller:

    Davies:

    Stalteri

But to be honest, I'm sick of them talking about how they will fight and how they know how important it is. We need to see some action...a fighting, gritty side ready to scrap.

you know mike, i find the same thing the be perplexing. the offal keeps sending out this propaganda(?), but it doesn't seem like all the players really believe it. and you gotta love the training photos.]

sadly i won't be in the chatroom, as i gotta travel 3 hours for ultimate sectionals (where we'll get our heads handed to us).

Even Hahnemann is for Fulham as he is friends with all our boyz, so here's hoping that the Royals go DOWN! FULHAM will do this! They will RISE to the occasion. C'mon Fulham, GET IT DONE!

It's times like these that the games aren;t what I would call fun.

See you in Casa de Steve tomorrow and in the chat room.
