A new supporter was born last night :)

    Sinoia Kai Gatties

    6 pounds, 8 ounces

Mother & baby are doing well.

Those who were in chat on Saturday knew that I had tickets to see the Chicago Fire play the Wiz. My wife insisted I go cause she didn't feel she was ready. I didn't want to go cause I was worried she would go into labor. The chatters were with me and I'm thrilled I didn't go, as I would have missed the trip to the hospital.

Well, sorry you missed McBride being McBride... but you caught the more important event.. All Good.

And BTW. If you guys are in the chatroom during an MLS or USA game, why dont onna you post that in the approp forum either FUSA news or NA footy?

I do when I'm in there. You can always delete it later or I will. Just as I am moving this to FUSA News/ Gatherings. A new arrival matches 'gatherings', ya know.

Great news, I was wondering when this would come through! A very cool name as well. Hope you enjoyed sleep while you had it!

    Thanks everyone.

Gonna try to answer a couple of questions I noticed while reading this thread.

    1. Name

"Sinoia" was the city in Rhodesia where my wife was born. The city is now known as "Chinhoyi" and Rhodesia is now known as Zimbabwe As for the middle name "Kai"...dunno, just sounded good to me...haha.

2.Sinoia is my second child. I have a 13 year old from a previous relationship. She is however my wife's first child.

    3. Someone mentioned sleep. You'd think that I would have been ready for that since I do have a 13 year old. However...I forgot. I've had MAYBE 4 hours of sleep since Saturday night. She's got a set of lungs on her and she lets everyone in the baby unit know when she's hungry.

And finally...the first picture I took at the hospital...

Awesome, beautiful, and very healthy looking!

So, have you purchased the Rhodesian Ridgeback to pal around with and protect her?

    (They hunt lions,....seriously.)
