I just read on the Official Board that Fulham's opening match at Old Trafford against Manchester United has been moved to Sunday, August 20th for showing on Sky Sports. The kick-off time would be 8:30AM EDT/7:30AM CDT.

This is not official, but usually these rumours are true.

Okay, I'm confused about all the FSC; coverage stuff. Is it only their PPV matches that are switching vendors? Will there still be two or three live matches on FSC? We didn't usually get the early Sunday matches free, but we did get the Saturday counterparts and the Bloke version of MNF.

    Whazzup?

Last season and the season before, the only Sunday match we had was a 12PM Chicago time tape-delayed match of either one of the early Sunday matches or a Saturday match.

This season, FSC will have the normal PPV match at 11AM EDT and I believe the tape-delay match will still be in its' normal slot.

Thus, if my calculations and research are correct, the FSC schedule will look like this most Premiership weekends:

    Saturday
10AM EDT - Match 1, LIVE (Old PPV Match from last year)
12PM EDT - Match 2, LIVE (This match was aired on FSC last season at the same time)
3PM EDT - Match 3, Tape delay (match played that same day)

    Sunday
11AM EDT - Match 4 LIVE (Old PPV Match)
1PM EDT - Match 5 Tape-delay (Match played either early Sunday or Saturday)

From what I can gather, I think Fulham's first match against Manchester United will fit into Match 5 from above. Thus, we will see it on a tape-delay basis at 1PM EDT/12PM CDT on FSC.

I might be wrong, but that is what I can see.

As for other matches on TV, the only other scheduled match to be shown LIVE will be on Setanta USA Channel at 7:30AM EDT on Saturday. Not sure if Setanta will be showing at tape delay matches.

    I hope this helps Don.

Where exactly on the official fulham site does it sate that we will be playing Manchester United on the Sunday. On the SkySports Website (Sky Sports in England is where football is played on the T.V and it is their website) it states that the fixtures for the Premiership havnt been released yet.

I apologize, someone mentioned it on www.t-f-i.com. As I mentioned originally, it is noyt official as SKY will not release the TV schedule until Monday, July 3rd.

Well, Monk, it'd be a good idea to sharpen up all your internet skills on the side.

Not sure what is going to happen. For those that did not read the link, both Rooney and Scholes were given straight red cards in their preseason match with Porto today. Manchester United won 3-1.

From what I can gather, Rooney's red was very harsh and Scholes was deserved. I do believe the ref has to report the reds to the FA, but I would not be surprised if Rooney's is rescinded.

Rio Ferdinand also hurt himself. I heard he will only be out for a week, but you never know.
