    Kick it off..

I say cross them up; go in 4-4-2 and on the attack.

We have to attack on the wings. You have to force their fullbacks to play defense or they'll kill you when they overlap. Most of their pace is with their wide defenders. I think our defense can handle them, but if we want to get points -- and I think we can get three -- we've got to attack from the get go.

We need Routledge from the beginning and Boa to play as an out-and-out winger. I'd bring on Volzy with 30 minutes left and have them run straight at the defense.

    What's the injury report?

I say frustrate Beasley, watch him melt down and infect the rest of his squad.

Kick Joe Barton, and watch the red mist!
I think we can play our ways to victory with a balanced team, I would definatly have speed up front, if John really is out of favour then stick BMC and Boa up front, and build a midfield to serve them.

Just needs someone with quick feet marking him... toe-poke the ball away, and get an occasional nutmeg on him.

I saw him play twice -- once as a sub and once as a starter -- and he looked fine. He didn't play on Satuday, and I think that it's either than the guy he was covering for came back, or he's having more trouble with his ankle. In any case, I think that Liam has the beating of him 95/100 times.

I guess I'm the only guy left on the site who still thinks that DMB is a quality player.

Beasley is out with an ankle injury. Not sure when he returns.

Regardless, Fulham needs to take it to Man City right from minute 1. It's my understanding that City's defense isn't all that and a bag of chips, I think McBride, Jensen, Boa Morte, Radz, Rosy, and Que need to keep up the pressure on offense and pin them back in their end - forcing them to defend a Fulham onslaught.

I fully agree with HatterDon, the wings are crucial. Fortunately, I think Fulham is more than capable of leading an attack up either side. I'm predicting a 2-0 win for the good guys.

What about that tosser who knocked the Portsmouth guy out cold? He still around? Any chance Brown can give him a shot to the jimmy?

Are you talking about Ben Thatchers accidental collision with Pedro Mendez's face. I don't know - these forigners are so light-weight!

His 8 match ban is over and he has started Man City's last 3 games against Newcastle, Charlton and Middlesborough. I hope Brown does not have a pop as we need him in the run-in to Christmas.

FACT: If we score against Citeh, it will be the first goal they concede at home all season. Crazy eh?!

I think so. He's decent, if small. But his selfishness is not exactly a team building attitude. If he wants back in the fold, he needs to prove it. Perhaps Reyna will rub off on him.

We specialise in this kind of work - Everton scored in every game 'til they played us. Definate goals for us now!

My perception of Man. City is weird. I don't think of them as having a top-notch defense, but they have 6 clean sheets in 12 matches.

Joey Barton is dangerous (and he's on my fantasy team). Also, he's only scored 2 goals this season, but I think Samaras is quite good also...if he plays.

I think we must be a little more offensive minded. Two forwards please!

Here's my attempt at a starting lineup that will give us the best chance at getting a result:

Bring John and/or Radz off the bench if our attack isn't up to par.

Judging by what has gone before I recon that Man City starting lineup will be (4-4-2):

Weaver, Richards, Distin, Dunne, Thatcher, Barton, Reyna, Sinclair, Dickov, Vassell, Samaras

Weaver is not the best and we should pepper his goal with shots, I would put John on and tell him to run his bits off for 45 minutes as that is all he has. I would also tell him to follow in on the keeper anytime a shot comes in. I would put Knight on the keeper during corners.

Richards will be tierd and exited from his mid-week Dutch trip. Sinclair is a player well past his best, we should get joy against him. Dickov is a thug and not very good. Vassell will cause problems as he is a quick bugger, Knight and Peace don't have the legs for it so I would expect Liam to be hovering between his place and providing cover.

Okay, this old fat opinionated [yet, somehow charming and eloquent] Texan plans to crawl out of bed around 6:30, fire up the DELL and get into the chatroom. Anybody else gonna be there? Need some partners for my insanity!

By the way, I like us 1-2. I think Richards will be tired and that Boa can run Sinclair's socks off. If there's some bite in our defensive midfield and we attack, I think we can break Citeh's clean home sheet a couple of times.
