It sure wis something to look at the sidebar and see Juventus' name and badge there.

Juve just beat an even bigger disappointment, Fiorentina, yesterday, and as of this writing, move into 4th place. Since they have license to cheat, let's call it what it is, I expect them to finish in the top four there.

Still smarting over yesterday, I really thought we outplayed Spurs. I'd take a 1-0 loss and a chance to get them back in the return leg, if I am being honest with myself. I hope that's just the sting of yesterday and me being a crank.

It'll be a great day though.

Yep, and I'm wondering if the footie gods will allow yet ANOTHER result from a match viewed @ the Lion & Rose on Broadway [San Antonio]. How often to you get to see talented young athletes slap an Old Lady around?

I'll be there to find out. Testing the power of Fullers, one beer at a time.

2 o'clock central sounds kind of late for Italy, but if you confirm it, Matt, I'll be there with you.

With Greening in instead of Murphy I'm not exactly optimistic about us scoring. Weather could be an issue. Would gladly take an ugly 0-0.

A (silly) last minute meeting got scheduled for 3pm so rather than miss the first half I think I'll miss all of it and catch the replay on UEFA.com

Can anyone vouch for catching the replay online? Is it worth it?

Now, this is the tream that was 91st in the league about 13 years ago and screwed around the lower divisions for the better part of the post war era? THAT Fulham?

Again, Juve can be had over two legs. They are a sputtering giant, and we have taken two of them to task this year, L'Pool and Man U. I have no idea who will start, but because injuries will tie Woy's hands to a large extent, I think we will see a solid team tomorrow, and hopefully a result.

I'm with Joe. I'm hoping for a slog ending in a draw. Get out with as few cards as possible. Then we can come home and string together just enough pretty football to nick the win in front of the raving Craven faithful. COYW!!!

getting an away goal would be priceless. I'm hoping that Juve's defense is as short in stature as Shaktar's, but I don't really think that'll be the case.

Juve is now also missing one of their central defenders. In the games without him, they've lost all but one (which they tied). They are vulnerable, but the pitch is going to be in bad shape.

    GET THREE

I read somewhere that Paul Konchesky will be on the pitch - this is shaping up to be a prime picking and Clint will be able to play next week for sure

    RE: GET THREE

I am glad to hear that Dempsey is making the trip but I don't expect him to make a big impact in this match yet. I hope I am wrong but I think we will really miss Murphy in this match. I don't know what team we will see but here is hoping for a good away showing.
