Got to be looking at another 1-1 draw.

Fulham scores early, NC scores late.

A loss marks the end of the road for LS.

We've been lucky that everyone else around us has been losing, so Sunday's results were frankly overdue.

If anyone wants to get aggitated, just go to the offal where many so-called fans are hoping for a loss so LS can get the sack..I've got two words for those fools and they ain't Merry Christmas.

It's a little early in the week for lineups or predictions (Isn't Kamara suspended due to accumulation of yellows?) One thing about Newcastle is Femimartins (spelling??) scares the hell out of me.

FSC is showing the game, so we all will be able to see if this squad has heart and will, frankly everyone should be ready to bleed on Saturday for their teammates.

I certainly don't want them to lose to get rid of Sanchez, but if they do lose, I think it's a serious possibility. with that being said, the players have to be tired of not finishing and hopefully we see them pick it up at home.

I wouldn't be surprised if that happened, but if Fuhalm doesnt win (draw doesnt count) against Wigan, then he's a sure goner. I'm sticking with my "6-points in the next two matches, or 7-points in the next four" plan in order for LS to keep his job.

newcastle is resurgent, but they'll be facing an equally hungry side (or so i hope we're hungry).

    2-1 Fulham

I'm not sure I see us beating Newcastle or Wigan. I think we lose to Newkie 2-1 and draw with Wigan 1-1.

As worried about the team as I am right now, I still think it's too early to let LS go. We'll see. Perhaps Jose Murinho turned down the England job because he's secretly eying Fulham...:)

I definitely think it's too early to ge rid of LS, but he really needs to get Fulham into a winning form. There is no reason that we can't beat Newcastle, it's not a matter of sheer talent like against ManU. If Fulham comes ready, it's 3-1 to the Whites.

I think the team is really wounded right now. We've been putting in a lot of performances that coulda shoulda ended better than they did. Those kind of performances where you come away with nothing can be emotionally draning, especially if they occur various times. Credit to our boys that they keep coming back and fighting each game but we are going to have to make a stand soon because these results can be pretty draining on our psyche. Newcastle haven't been a ton better than us although for the most part they've won the matches they should win. I expect we'll see two teams who see an opportunity for 3 points on Saturday and I expect to see lots of attacking football. I'm going to predict a 3-1 Fulham win. COYW!!!

no lineups, no predictions, no chatrooms, no Gentleman Jim, no FSC for this little black duck. I'll check out the replay late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Original FulhamUSA shirt on Saturday morning is as close to the match as I get. I'm thinking that the team's luck might change if I serve a one-match ban. I'm hoping for a win. I hate being so #&%( grouchy all weekend!

Both of the home games are must wins. We cannot lose or draw either of them. I believe we will win both games, but if we do not we are in trouble. If we can win both then we can get away from the bottom 3 for the time being and go to Spurs with confidence of getting a result. I do not want to face Spurs and the scum while in the damn bottom 3.

Yes, they must win both!!!! Makes me feel a little greedy at Christmas time to need both, but WTH. While we're at it let's hope LS doesnt play Kuqi the whole game or sub Dempsey when he's being effective. And finally, an official red ryder, carbine action two hundred shot range model air rifle

I don't want to go off and say that Sanchez is done with a loss, but he certainly has to be feeling the heat unless he can get Fulham to actually get 3 points in the very near future. They'll have to close down on Obfemi Martins and they'll have to play with actual confidence and precision for a change. Sloppy, passive, and desperate is no way to win soccer games.

I won't be able to see this live with a hockey game to go to at 1 PM (with the dollar hot dog promotion! it can't lose!) so I'll learn of the good guys' fate on Saturday.

I don't feel good about this match. Newcastle is the better team talent wise and they are on a roll. Winning the game will be really difficult. A draw is not great, but will do against a team like Newcastle. Just hope we don't lose.

3 points against Wigan IS a must though.

We're due for some fortune. 3-1 Fulham.

I also think it's way early too call anything a must win. The season isn't even half over and we're only 2 points from 13th place. It was a bad loss this weekend and I was as mad as anyone, but I think we all need to take a deep breath.

I have a good feeling about the W's chances at home. The Barcodes are too inconsistent. They've had 2 good results in a row, but they don't have the leadership or the mindset to consistently make the grade eevry week. I think Fulham are catching them at a fortuitous time.

2-1, to the W's. Dempsey and Kuqi (off the bench) put one in the net

i think we'll have at least one win from the next 2 games but they'll probably be a bit fortunate and unconvincing.

I think we draw or lose. Newcastle is on fire right now. Fulham will have to do something special to beat these guys.

Wigan and Birmingham are the big games coming up. Those are must wins.

Lawrie's talking up the Christmas fixtures, but he surely has bigger things to worry about -- the Newcastle match being among the top of the priority board, obviously. I'm hoping for a win, and I'm thinking we'll come out of this one with all three points.

Only 18 posts for the game today. I guess most people are feeling a bit nervous and they should. Both teams have had injury problems and played below expectations this season. I believe we take care of business at the Cottage today (2-1).

    Niemi
    Omozusi - Hughes - Boca - Konch
    Davies - Murphy - Dempsey - Bouazza
    Healy - Kuqi (60 Min)
