Time to get it cranked up. A few wins on the trot and the confidence is riding high (see Jol's comments below).

It's away from the Cottage so it's hard to predict a victory, but this one is there for the taking. Villa has been less than sterling at home (3 wins, 4 draws, and 6 losses), and the natives will be restless at Villa Park if the Mighty Whites can jump on them. I haven't looked it up, but has Fulham ever won 4 in a row in the top flight??

I seem to recall reading somewhere in the blur between last night and this morning that we have not. Time to change that! 2-1 Fulham! COYW!

No we haven't won four in a row, and there are plenty of Fulham "veterans" who are negative about our chances for that reason and for the reason that Villa Park is unlucky for us -- no wins in 12 years there. Also, it appears that the two drawingist teams [in percentages] in Premier League history are Aston Villa and Fulham.

The thing is that they just lost their only consistent attacking threat, their midfield is led by Steven Ireland for goodness sake, and the team's morale is three flights lower than whale shit. The fans are also disgusted with McLeish, and if we're ever gonna open up a tin of Marmite-flavored Whup-Ass, Saturday is the day. An early goal from us and they might just crumble before a crowd hollering for McLeish's blood.

My only fear is that we show up in fear -- tippy-toeing around the pitch in hopes we don't wake them up. On form and on quality, they have nothing to match our attack and midfield. They're there for the taking. I say 0-1, but am hoping for 0-4.

DUE TO TAPE DELAY AND COMMITMENTS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, THERE WILL BE NO VIEW FROM SOUTH TEXAS. Somebody help out the Senator and write a match report on this one!

Oh, and I WILL be in the chatroom Saturday morning -- hope to "see" many of you there.

    COYW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:banana-guitar: Damn, I NEVER get tired of that smilie!

I dare Villa to stop Fulham given the Whites' form at the moment - I don't believe they have the players to pull it off. But, Fulham being Fulham, they can stop themselves. D'oh! I see a hard-fought draw.

    COYW!

This is a weird one. It's hard to call a win here historically speaking, yet at the same time, the form of both clubs makes it hard to predict anything other than a win. Factor in the Fulhamish nature of this one and I'd say we settle for another draw with them.

Does anyone do the chatroom during the 4pm (cent) tape delayed airing?

Yeah, given the stats for these two teams...a draw seems to be in order. Sorry, Matt, but I'll be in for the live game chat.

Also, if anybody wants to write the match review for the home page, let me know.

Clyde the Glide....who knew? Turns out I won't be in the later chat afterall, so I guess I'll try the live one and hunt for a stream for a change. See you soon, Don. :character-jason: :banana-guitar: Ha ha!

Hard to go against history so I'll have to say a draw as well. Hopefully Pog stays hot and gets another goal.

Huh...on official fulham Facebook they said he would be back for this one. Surprising he's not even on the bench.

About to enter the chat. All are welcome to join in.

Gutting. Played very poorly offensively and still managed 3-4 good chances. Fulhamish.

ugh. A point would have been nice. Didn't play our best, that's for sure. 4 wins in a row would have really been great, just to prove that a this Fulham can do it on road as well. :angry-banghead:
