Christensen may be available for this one. The question: do we risk it for a non league match or go for it? We'll see, I guess. Parker's got an ankle issue of some sort, unclear how bad. And Hoogland and Amorebieta are apparently still a ways away. Was hoping that they'd be closer. Our defense needs them. Badly.

Simple answer concerning LVC is no, this is only the 4th round. Perhaps if this was a round or two later. The Stadium of Light was one of the few away locations where the club has had some success. Certainly capable of getting at least a draw up there with or without Lasse

Kit wants to win every game, but if LVC isn't 100 percent, he won't be risked -- especially at THAT stadium in a cold January. It's a shame we won't have Hyndman back if, indeed, Parker is injured. I think Kit goes with the same XI with the exception of Woodrow starting instead of Rodallega.

I also think we have a decent chance of getting a result.

Here's the lineup I'd like to see:

Without Parker, I'd love to see us play in an old school 4-4-(****in'!)-2. I'd also like to see Roberts given a shot, especially since we really don't have any other right wingers.

Here's the game day squad. Interesting that Ruiz is starting. This tells me that his move to Boca is just newspaper crap.

    Fulham
    • 40 Bettinelli
    • 03 Stafylidis
    • 04 Hutchinson
    • 06 Bodurov
    • 37 Grimmer
    • 21 Christensen
    • 25 Dembele
    • 19 Tunnicliffe
    • 12 Fofana
    • 10 Ruiz
    • 16 Woodrow
    Substitutes
    • 01 Kiraly
    • 11 Kacaniklic
    • 13 Zverotic
    • 14 Roberts
    • 20 Rodallega
    • 33 Burn
    • 44 McCormack

Feel like we should have gotten a win after Sunderland went a man down with 25 minutes left. However I am cheered by this headline: Chelsea 2, Bradford 4! We lasted longer in the FA Cup! http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30860394

Two replays in a row. I'll gladly take one at the Cottage, especially against a Prem side struggling for goals & in the relegation scrap. They may not be up for the distraction. Of course, that wasn't the case a year or 2 ago so who knows.

Sounded like Hugo choked on another sitter. He needs to sit.

Difficult to tell from the highlights, but it appears so, Don, yes. His form has done a 180 since scoring at Elland Road on 13 December. I'll reserve judgment until I watch the full replay, but common sense tells you we should have done better when Rodwell was sent off. Instead, Sunderland seemed to generate the better chances. How much time do these teams spend on shorthanded and man advantage situations? Whatever it is, we need to spend more.

I would join the ranks of those in favor of giving Hugo a bit of a break from the starting eleven.

A bunch of upsets, so the Cup has opened up. The 5th round draw to be announced later today.

EDIT: If the lads can get by the Black Cats a trip to Jump's Bradford awaits.

I was watching the Stoke v. Rochdale 4th round match today, and Fox announced that there will be three matches on Tuesday -- including Fulham v. Sunderland -- but only one will be televised -- NOT Fulham v. Sunderland.

    Sigh

    Ouch
Ouch, that stings a bit. It would've been nice to get a DVR match in.
