Fulham travel to Portman Road to face Ipswich. Kickoff is at 10am Saturday on Peacock.

Ipswich and Fulham haven't faced each other in league play since 2018 in the Championship. However, just last November Fulham was at Portman road when they defeated Ipswich in the EFL Cup. That game was notable because it was the first and only time Muniz scored for Fulham in the year 2023. He hadn't scored for Fulham since November of 2022 and he didn't go on his run in the Premier League until February of 2024. Muniz has certainly been involved in Fulham's scoring chances this season, but he still hasn't scored. Hopefully he finds his shooting boots again against Ipswich.

As one of five teams without a win, Ipswich currently sit in the relegation zone based on goal differential. However, those two losses were at Anfield and at home versus Manchester City (EDIT, uh, I got that backwards - they were home to Liverpool and away to City). Having zero points would be a typical return for most teams with that kind of starting schedule. Ipswich did play well in the first half against Liverpool and managed to have a lead against City for a few minutes, so they shouldn't be underestimated. They will certainly be looking at this match against Fulham as their first reasonable chance to earn some points.

Expect an unchanged lineup from the match against Leicester.

And Fulham should be looking at this match as a way to gain six points from the first three matches. It’s rarely ever going to be easy for Fulham (outside of the random unexpected 5-0 thumping of <insert team here>), but I will be disappointed with one point and outright angry with zero from this match.

@TommyFFCGun absolutely! We’ll be watching on Peacock live at 7am west coast time. Hope the traveling support is big. Can’t tell a lie, have no clue where Ipswich is in relation to London. Hope it isn’t a far journey if you are staying/living in London.

    A second from me!

From what I hear, Ipswich is a great away day. A doable trip east from London, close access to the train station, and a nice stadium. Hopefully there is another convincing win there too!

Ipswich is East of London and up a bit. It is in Norfolk. I'm currently on the supporters coach on the way to the ground and guess what. I'm sitting next to a young Bostonian who has travelled to England to see his first Fulham game live. How committed is that. We have sold out our away allocation so there should be about 3000 of us slagging off the inbreds of Ipswich #COYW

Am just to the right of the half way line as you look at the stand about half way up. Wearing a white shirt with black shoulders retro Fulham kit. Am wearing a cap.

Good turn out from the Fulham faithful.

As for the game, they came at us then we got on top before Pereira lost the ball and they scored. I genuinely don't see what Marco sees in Pereira. We are back in it but it is there for us to win. We will make this as difficult as we want to. Ipswich are there for the taking. They are very naive defensively.

The match could have gone either way, but it felt fortunate for Fulham that it ended in a draw. Ipswich made the better chances and Fulham just seemed to make a lot of unforced errors.

I also think Palhinha doesn't let Ipswich run up the field to score. Last season that drive would have ended with a crunching tackle, and maybe a yellow, but not a goal. That was a great shot that should have been stopped earlier.

Nice team play on the Traore goal. More of that would have been appreciated.

I expect a couple changes in the lineup when Fulham returns in two weeks against West Ham

It seemed to me that Ipswich wanted it more. They came out with high energy and a dangerous intent. Fulham, on the other hand, seemed content to play possession and see if anything came of it.

I am looking forward to some of the new recruits getting their chance.

And why does Silva always wait until the 85th plus minute to sub. Does he expect Cairney, Wilson and Reed to make magic with their first (and only) touches?
