I just thank God my 14 year old daughter hates that stuff.

 

I'll say this for the Jonas Brothers -- I would rather my daughter or students like them and their ilk rather than the bands whose fans wear all black, Salvation Army reject clothes, have facial piercings and ugly ass tattoos, hate all forms of physical activity and are 30 pounds overweight at age 15, and wear makeup the color of oil smudges. I don't worry about the Jonas Brothers fans doing something to themselves or someone else like the post I made earlier this week about someone I knew in HS who 3 days ago did something unspeakable. He had emotional issues when he was young and he did something that ran afoul of the law as a result -- 25 years on I forget almost all of the details.

If the Jonas Brothers are going to invade Cleveland and the only short or long term damage they cause is a few ruptured eardrums cause by the screaming of legions of 10 year old girls, I'll take that every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

 

At least its not Phish

 

... or the Grateful Dead. Every Walmart and Target in San Antonio would have o give all of their cleaners and disinfectants to a cleanup crew to get the funk and cheese out of the city.
