Anybody going to watch the England v Portugal game in DC? If so, where will you watch it?
I'll be over in DC on business from Thursday till Saturday and it would be great to meet some of the Fulham fans there and watch the England game with you.

I've emailed Mike asking him to forward my email to DC fans.

P.S. Let's hope that Chicago's Tom is completely wrong. He's forecasted a 2-1 win to Portugal. Mind you, this was done at the beginning of the tournament. He may have changed his mind since then.

I hope I wrong FC. I would love to see England knock off Portugal. I think it is about time Sven got the best of Big Phil. He is 0-for-2 in the last two major tournaments against Big Phil.

I would love to watch the games with you, but I will be in Seattle form Tuesday to Sunday for the Society for American Baseball Research convention. Bummer!

I might be over in Chicago at the end of July. If this is confirmed, I'll let you know, Tom. Love to buy you a beer.

    Wow! You're a SABREmatrician? Cool.

I've found that baseball and fitba taken in similar-sized doses tends to balance out your left-right brain thing nicely.

A 11 o'clock kick off time is a killer. I don't think I could disappear from work for 3 hours.
