Football, "Furriners" and the FA

    You will not find a better synopsis of the current state of the Prem and why it's hemorrhaging itself to death than here in the 'Gordian'

    I dont think there's anything 'new' here... but the thing being all wrapped up and laid at the feet of the FA IS!

    I only have to quibble with one small part... other sports HAVE had these problems - Baseball for one; where, unlike the NFL, the commissioner is the mouthpiece for the owners. Why else is it so satisfying to see the current poor record of the Man U marketing partner, the Yankees?

    Why is a conservative capitalist like me so anti-'old boy'? Simp[ple.. it is a matter of short term gains vs long term success... unacceptable anywhere in the REAL corporate world.
