.. to be a terrorist.

Much as I despise political correctness, I also dislike the notion of having to eye anyone who dresses or acts differently than the norm with suspicion.

So I followed the incident about the six imams without comment. But I had a hunch. This isnt the first time groups of muslims have staged strange activities on a plane to get other passengers rattled.

I believe that now the motive is clear.
The whole thing was a set-up
Of course.. it WAS a win-win thing:

An airline gate agent told the Minneapolis Police Department that six Muslim men began praying very loudly and repeatedly shouting “Allah” as passengers began boarding Flight 300 bound for Phoenix Nov. 20. The six imams refused to sit on their assigned seats, moving around the cabin and arranging themselves in a pattern reminiscent of the Sept. 11, 2001 hijackings. Three asked flight attendants for heavy seat belt extenders, but then didn’t use them to buckle up. Witnesses overheard them talking about al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden.

Mahdi Bray, executive director of the Falls Church-based Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, called the incident “a gross example of blatant Islamophobia and the violation of the civil rights of Muslim passengers,” characterizing the legitimate concerns of the flight crew and other passengers as “irrational fears.”

Yep...I'd like to say I'd be different but if put in that position I'd be freaking out just like the passengers on the plane. I mean if this is true......

Then yeah I'd be worried to the point where I'd try and get them kicked off the plane.

OTOH: I suppose we have to consider the possibility that the passengers crew and gate staff conspired against those peace-loving preachers ..
