We do this every year, and we all suck at it. It's fun to check out in January and again in April. Oh, what the heck, here goes:

1- Liverpool -- I picked them last year; why not again
2- Man United -- The squad is even better than last year
3- Chelsea -- Bye-bye to the Special One
    4- Tottenham -- Good off-season moves
5- Everton -- Good decision NOT to have many off-season moves
6- Arsenal -- The wrong people are making decisions at the Emirates
7- Man City -- SGE will do well, if they can score goals
8- Blackburn -- Mark Hughes does a great job with little money or fan support
9- Aston Villa -- O'Neill is a great game manager, but he gutted his squad.
10- Fulham -- for my money the most improved squad in the Prem
11- Newcastle -- will play better for Big Sam, but still a lot of weaknesses
12- Bolton -- Little Sam is up against it, won't last the season.
13- Portsmouth -- I think they hurt themselves this summer.
14- Reading -- Hanging on for a long ride in the EPL, most of it along the lines of what we've seen from FFC in the last 5 or 6 years.
15- West Ham -- They will survive, and I'll be pissed.
16- Sunderland -- The yo-yo stops! Keane-O will keep them up for one season, and then he'll take over a big money club.
17- Birmingham -- Stupid ownership pressure will run Bruce out. They'll survive, but not for more than one season. All that concern about American owners, and it's the Chinese guy who'll mess up the integrity of the side.
18- Middlesbrough -- Can't believe they stayed up last season.
19- Derby County -- This year's Watford. Good gaffer; weak squad.
20- Wigan -- Not an EPL set-up. They keep losing quality players, and they've lost "Paul Jewell-i-o"

It was fun checking these through out the season last. I don't remember one person being close. Here goes:

1- Manchester United -- I'm predicting it will be between them and Liverpool, with Man. U's deep pockets winning out.
2- Liverpool -- Getting rid of Bellamy was a no brainer. They should be stronger for it.
3- Chelsea -- The drama has to be wearing everyone out.
4- Newcastle -- Here comes Big Sam, here comes Joey Barton (if he can stay out of jail), and they have all the pieces to make a run at Champions League.
5- Arsenal -- Always have their doubters, but don't doubt this: Top 5 again.
6- Portsmouth -- They are not a bad squad, but are they a good enough squad to improve on last season?
7- Aston Villa -- O'Neill isn't considered a legend in the green side of Glasgow and doesn't have songs written about him for no reason.
8- Tottenham -- They remind of lots of teams in lots of sports which have the talent, but for whatever reason can't make the jump.
9- Fulham -- Sanchez's attitude and willingness to put everyone on notice isn't as big a gamble when you have his confidence, and his history of success.
10- Everton -- Because Fulham should always be at least one spot above the plastic toffees.
11- Blackburn -- What HatterDon said, "Mark Hughes does a great job with little money or fan support", but with a prediction of less of a great job this season.
12- Reading -- Manager of the Season last. Has a knack for putting the peices of the puzzle together rather quickly. Still, too much pressure to repeat last season's form.
13- West Ham -- The bad-boys club of Premiership right the ship, somewhat.
    14- Bolton -- Good-bye Big Sam, good-bye Europe, good-bye top ten.
15- Middlesbrough -- Southgate pulled it together at end of last season. Does he have what it takes to keep them together and winning this season?
16- Man City -- The Baby Blues, with all the turnover, could be singin' the blues.
17- Sunderland -- Keane's got the fire, but did he have enough money to spend in the off-season is the question.
18- Wigan -- Clock has struck midnight. Time for them to turn into a pumpkin.
19- Birmingham -- I like Bruce, but who have they gotten to improve the side in the off-season?
20- Derby County -- When MLS players with questionable abilities start turning down your offers before the season even starts, major problems. Lucky to do better than Watford last season.

    14) Fulham- It could go either way for us this year but I'm counting on the strikers to get hot and carry us through, Kamara needs to be a sucess. The backline is guarnateed to struggle but I believe the midfield will be strong particularly if Dempsey, Cook, and Davis come up big along with the return of the one and only Jimmy Bullard.

Well, the fact that there's no prize of any kind just increases the possibility that I might win! Count me in!

this may be cheap but because the tevez saga was settled and west ham found "not" guilty, they probably wont be deducted points. so i want to change my table a wee bit. and then it'll be "i told you so" official.

so yeah, i'm putting west ham 15th and wigan 19th. the table will look like this:

    1)cska london
    2)manu
    3)scousers
    4)gooners
    5)spurs
    6)pompey
