Celtic Line up US Friendly

Glasgow Celtic, recently crowned champions of the Scottish Premier League, have lined up a second friendly for their upcoming summer tour of the US. Celtic will take on MLS All-Stars on July 19th in the first game of the tour and will then line up against the Chicago Fire on July 22nd at the club’s new soccer specific stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Too bad this is a month after Gold Cup semis in Chicago. Can't imagine the possibility of doing both.

 

Interesting they are playing the Fire AFTER the ASG.

Not so psychologically debilitating as playing them BEFORE as FFC did the Crew.

How is it a windup if it's the truth? There's no doubt that the Crew scrimmage did nothing to enhance Fulham's performance in the all-star game.

All it did was point out how far from match-fit they were.
