Atletico Madrid have failed to earn a UEFA Cup place this season and have woefully underperformed leading them to auction off their most prized posession...Fernando Torres.

The Mancs, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been linked with him in the past and should be on Red Alert after this news.

Torres has scored 82 goals in 212 matches for Atletico Madrid which is a pretty good goal per game ration. I'm not completely convinced he will be successful in the EPL, but he does have quality and pace to burn.

Not sure who the favorite to sign him is, but as long as Chelsea don't sign him I will view it as a relatively small victory.

 

The guy looked amazing in the world cup. Any of the four could use him, probably Arsenal the most. Hope to see him in the EPL.

 

Would be fantastic to see him in the prem, because I am not a huge fan of La Liga and I can see him play more frequently. Would rather he not found a home with the Gooners, but they seem to fit his style of free flowing play the best. Wenger is probably beggining to salivate right now.
