    Its unfortunate for Benny that HSV strongest part of their team is central midfield. I think he will get a couple of first team matches this year.

    Well, Benny has made a couple of starts in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League. He's had some good reviews, too. Here's hoping to a bright 2010 WC for the US.

    He's a talented kid with a good fitba brain. He was the best of a very good bunch in Peru last year.

    Did he play in Peru, I didn't get to see the games? I only remeber watching him in the Uder-20 WC in the Netherlands 2-3 years ago. He impressed me, and I wasn't surprised he was picked-up by European team after that. Good young player and has time on his side to learn and improve in the game.

    Here's a good NYT interview with Feilhaber...I'm really starting to like the Bundesliga, as a place for US youngsters to learn the game. Also, I'm beginning to think it's a bit better than the Premiership after watching more games--there is a lot less hoofing the ball forward.

    In the reports from people who watch the Champions League game on tuesday against Arsenal, Benny had his best game as a member of Hamburg. Although in a 3-1 loss.
