    I agree.. # 23 seems a little off. Rather Maryland was #1 instead of OSU.

    But wait a minute... what difference does it make? this isnt March.

    Well, anybody who gets through the Big 10[11] Basketball season schedule and still has 23+ wins deserves a top five ranking in my book. There may be more stylish college roundball elsewhere in the country, but there's not been anything as rough and competitive as the Big 10 of the last few years since the very early days of the Big East.

    One of the few NCAAB "stunts" of the recent past that I enjoy is the annual Big 10-ACC challenge. A little wheat/chaff time.

    There are a few things in life I get pure joy in watching.....one of which is watching the University of Illinois lose any athletic competition. Specifically football and basketball though. I loved watching Maryland go into Champaign last night, without Ebekwe, and win. Great win for them! Illinois is not as good as they have been the past few seasons, but they are still a good team. Nice win for the Terps!
