Fans: Peeing in the Pool

One of the bright sides for long-suffering Crew fans, coincident with Crew's performance last season was the arrival of the Nordecke fan section, which is always remarked on by FSC and ESPN announcing crews.

There's a downside to this, of course. Objects being thrown from the section and obscene chants being the most egregious. To the point it's become embarrassing to the crew and the audience in other sections.

Everyone agrees that throwing stuff is bad but can't agree on who can stop it. Fan group leaders say they cant do much to stop it.. that it probvably is from non-group members.

But there isnt total agreement on obscene chants. A minority insists it's their right to 'free speech' and that parents objecting to their kids hearing that can just stay away.

Well, one of their favorite chants is 'You Suck, Asshole{s}'. And it can be heard, clearly, stadium wide. Note I put in punctuation that makes it mean one thing, while it could mean something else.

Another is 'Get the F$$%k Out!'

The thread is 38 pages long! And it by far is NOT the first time it was discussed.

Here is the time I lost my patience with these immature idiots that claim it's their right to use the F' bomb.

Not that I'm proud of that.

Never understood while people think using profanity is clever or funny in and of itself. If it's an organized chant with profanity that is also funny or particularly timely that is one thing, but to have regular chants with profanity for no other reason than to denigrate a player is obnoxious.
