I just found out my son's soccer club has partnered with Everton FC. I know this has been happening aroung the country but I did not expect to see it in my area in the near future. I am not sure what being partnered with Everton means other than Everton's Academy Director will be putting on clinics for the clubs coaches, a camp for the players and that I get the priviledge of paying an extra $99 in fees.

It could also mean Josh picks up Everton as his favored PL club. If so, I get to watch a little more of Timmmmmmy. At least it is not Chelsea.

Hey, as you said, it could be worse. I see nothing wrong with Everton or their fans. Good enough for Timmyyyyyy and McHead, that's fine by me. Still, getting him to see the best choice wears the White uniform is why they pay us big bucks to be parents.

Is Fulham doing anything like this? For a relatively smaller club, the Ws have a big market share in the Land of the Free.

Okay, BarryP, that tears it. I've had a grudge against Everton since the 1980s [that I've detailed elsewhere], but I like Moyes. I like Timmy, Arteta, Cahill, as well as several players who have recently left. And now they're investing in your son's soccer club? Grudge over! Good for the Toffees.

Don't worry about divided loyalties. One of the regular posters on FofF has a lad that is a Spurs youth player. Everyone wants to know the latest exploits of "little legs," and nobody gives a toss that he's playing for the wrong Black & White.
