The match is on ESPN2 at 8 pm. Both teams have a lot on the line. The energy drinks are grasping for the last wild card spot thanks to Thierry Henry's late goal vs Toronto, and no thanks to that poor excuse for a DP, Rafa Marquez, as he was the one who got beat on TFC's goal.

Meanwhile the Galaxy are only one win away from the clinching the Supporters Shield and could potentially break a few all time MLS season team records if they have a good ending to the season. However, Donovan and Keane arent available and Gonzalez is one yellow card away from a suspension.

I'm looking forward to this one. I hope the Galaxy humiliates the energy drinks and it means an end to poor-excuse-for-a-DP and Hans Backe in MLS. Both have shown the league ZERO respect. Off now for another swig of that haterade.

No Keane, no Landy-Cakes, no dice. Red Bulls lucky Irene rolled in when it did and got the match rescheduled to last night. You would think that the coach will be gone no matter if they make the playoffs or not.

I'll never forget the cheap shot Marquez put on Cobi Jones at the '02 WC, so I got a bad attitude about him anyway, but I think his poor play is more about him being washed up than lacking respect for the league. Energy drinks couldn't have been dumb enough to have him on contract thru next year could they?

As they say, that was two hours of my life I want back. Actually I stopped watching 75 minutes, but I'd like that back all the same. Galaxy were not pretty to watch. Becks just kept heaving in balls to second and third string players.

Annoys me that poor-excuse-for-a-DP had one good pass and people are saying he had a solid game and NY are back on track. He had several horrible or lazy passes, hard to say which.

Not only did LA not have Landon and Keane but no Magee either. They were never going to win.

Part of me thinks the fix was in on this one - you know MLS thinks it has to have NY in the post season.

At least Beckham played (Victoria must've wanted to go shopping in Manhattan). I thought about driving up to Columbus sometime during the last 5 years for Galaxy vs. The Crew just to see him. Glad I didn't, because he only showed up ONCE. What a joke. Then I saw your fix comment Mo, and thought...hmmm. A possibility? Hell, yes.
