    Lots of young and exciting players called in, including the first player still in college since likely the 1990s.

    Good to see JK continuing to bleed youngsters into the squad - that's needed, especially for a friendly. Also nice that Ream was included as he's earned it in my opinion.

    So Fulham has another US International on the books (cough, cough and unlike HD, I'm supportive of the decision and merit).

    Surprised to see Brek Shea in the squad, but not at all surprised to see no Erik Lichaj. I think Cameron will be replaced. He was injured in the League Cup match midweek.

    It seems to follow what Klinsmann has done before with injuries. He usually doesn't call in a replacement for injured players. Why? I don't know. As far as I know nobody in the press has asked that question.

    Only four non-European based players. Regardless of playing time, it will be a great experience for Emerson (and hopefully an eye-opening one for the management).
