Of course that guy is paid by the taxpayers of Germany and is further out than even Al Gore on how the globe is gonna burn up if we don't put Government in total charge of energy use.
Germany certainly listened to him and their electrical grid is now teetering on collapse, and over a million Germans cant pay for electricity.

To put it bluntly, you judge expert's opinions by the language they use in conveying them. The reason there actually are Climate Change Deniers is by lay persons looking only at the language used by the so-called experts.
No one with a basic understanding of physics -which is all I have- is ever going to deny CO2 'holds' heat. Or that Man-emitted CO2 MAY have some effect on global temperatures.
HOWEVER I can show you WHY SOME 'experts' are fulla crap on their theories, by using only common examples that you run across in your normal life. And I think I will -on another thread.

Dumbing Down? - I went to school in the fifties which was supposedly before that even started and when I later saw my dad's HS science and math books from the early thirties, I was astounded.
- Here's the up side from my personal example. I dont remember 'LEARNING' a damn thing in HS, other than a few principles of math and my grades sucked, at that. What i really learned I learned by myself on my own time because i was curious. I think you'll find that is shared by the best and brightest as opposed to those who learn by rote.
I remarked on here some time ago about Neil deGrasse Tyson citing ancient beaches on Venus as an example of how CO2 catastrophically heats planets. I say that is complete and utter bullshit, unworthy of any so-called scientist. and will challenge him anytime anywhere to explain how that worked!
I bet Carl Sagan would never have said that. I'm pretty sure Sheldon Cooper, and maybe even the guy who plays him, would blow him away on that little 'Drive-By' gem.

Okay.... When the NYT makes a point I agree with, I quote it. The whole point is that they wrote an article, with an Obama statement that made him look rather... ahem.. detached. And then RATCHETED it back. Not deleted, but in several steps the whole thrust of the article changed.. BECAUSE ....

Fox News seems uncertain of the line between 'Explaining' and 'Defending'. I could make the case for either side of either.
But I can explain Trump without endorsing him in the least. Which can't be said of supposed Trump Tea Party supporters.

Which means some Tea Party are everything the RNCe have been afraid of.
