    So we've signed three mid-fielders and an on-loan striker. If we can keep Pearcey and Zat healthy, and if Liam and Routledge continue to go from strength to strength, I like our chances.

    We may not see a whole lot of Boca as a result, and Moritz might see some bench time, but I'm pretty positive about all this.

    I can't say I know much about Smertin or Davies but we need more midfielders for sure. Hopefully they work out.

    I don't think I'll miss Diop that much. He seemed to be going through the motions too often for my taste. I think Davies and Dempsey can be more of a presence.

    According to Skysports, Smertin's contract with Dinamo has been terminated. According to Dinamo, Smertin will continue his career with Fulham. According to CC, Diop is staying.

    So, here's my question: what's the possibility of having Davies and/or Smertin available for Tuesday's match v. Sheffield U?

    Okay, so here's my other question: What's the best guess on when Papa will be back?

    By the look of things Diop is staying....

    I'm glad has decided to stay and fight for his place. It either shows he is massivly injured and cannot pass a fitness test - or - he wants to play for Fulham. If he does play and goes in the summer he should be a fitter player and command a larger price tag. If he plays and is settled then we get back one of our best assets.

    I am guessing Davies will play tomorrow and also on Tuesday against Sheffield United.

    Smertin is likely to join the club on Saturday. I am not sure of his match fitness though. The Russian league has been on winer break so he may not be in the best of shape at present time.

    As for Diop, I think he is close to returning to the pitch. I would think he will play against Newcastle in a week. That is just a guess though. With all the transfer talk, I would think he is motivated and ready to prove his worth at Fulham.

    I'm so glad that we've been one of the most active clubs in the transfer window. The future looks very bright. By the way I'm all for Volz keeping his place in midfield. Watching him live on and off the ball he's the hardest working on the pitch. CC loves hard workers.
