Dallas @ Crew: Now I can take the paper bag off my head.

    The Crew played the other remaining Hunt team, Dallas, twice and twice 'schooled them'.

    Somewhat remarkable considering Dallas is on top of the West and Columbus bottom of the East. Dallas might have not been on top of their game... but should have looked at least as good as Columbus who played pretty good team footy.. not resorting to long ball overmuch and keeping the pressure on in the midfield, all game.
    Dallas SHOULD have been more up... as the loss removed any chance of them taking the MLS single table based Supporter's Shield away from DC, who lost to Houston.

    What I saw from Columbus is what I hope is the core of the Crew next Season. Sigi's team might finally be coming together.

    Also pleased to have met Expat Fulham Fan and FUSA member Ralph, FFC007 and Elizabeth at halftime and had a nice chat.

    Sidenote: Had to take off the paper bag, anyway because of the several drenching downpours during the match.

    I was a little stunned to see the final score, but that's what I love about fitba. Regardless of the record or the relative strength of the sides, you have to do it on the field.

    I'm glad Columbus did well and hope they come back strong next season. I think it's the sides like Columbus and Salt Lake that are most important to MLS because they are not in the super sports centers and can draw more of the attention.
