I'm not even sure where to go with this. The serious side of me says "wow" and then the kid in me says "awesome." Think i'll stick with wow for now.

While it's a bit alarming at first, I think the article makes it sound worse than it probably is. Face it, when has there ever been a shortage of teenage boys preoccupied with sex and yet clueless when it comes to sex and the opposite sex. And when was the last time teenagers didnt struggle with their self image. Also, I doubt they have a good understanding of the previous generation's exposure to porn as teenagers so it's hard to compare. It's also likely that teenagers are more willing to discuss porn in sex education classes because educators have made the classes more relevant. Likewise, these developments with the internet (and TV, music videos, movies) will probably make a lot more parents have a more worthwhile and relevant sex talk with their children.

Anyway, I have boys. So like I did with the circumcision decision, I will tell my husband that this one is his.

Sounds like a good argument in favor of sex education. Otherwise, how will these boys expect anything different?

Love to have done a before/after blood pressure check on the teacher when this happened!
