now let's hope that Luton survive. They haven't been able to play their players since they went "face down in the mud." They've drawn Liverpool in the 3rd round of the cup. There should be a full house there and, with any luck, they'll hold the Scoucers to a draw and have a nice house back at Anfield. There have been years that a cup tie like that have been enough to mean a profit for a small club. Maybe it'll be just enough this year for the team to survive at all.

Imagine if a team went bankrupt and couldn't pay their players in a sports league here. How fast would the players clear out of the locker room? When I first heard the Luton players were trying to tough it out while their board gets their act together, I honestly thought they were kidding me. How are they eating? RE: Re: RE: Coventry avoids administration Actually rcl, that happens here too. There's history on it in several of the minor leagues of various sports. Think even AAA baseball, the CBA and ABA, and MANY hockey teams. Which is what you have to compare it to.
