    Senator Tom Coburn continues to push the boulder uphill

    Senate Picks Pork Over Kids

    And you note it's the USUAL SWINE get the money.

    Yes.. he's posturing. But it makes the following context a little difficult to stomach:

    Dems Get SCHIPpy About War Funding

    Yeah that's how congressional politics works... but arent we getting a little tired of it?

    I swear we live in Bizarro world.

    I wonder how much TV press this will get.

    WTF is a “Virtual Herbarium” anyway?

    It will get no press as it is boring to the average American and Coburn was posturing as PFog said. This happens all the time and we never hear about it.

    I googled "virtual herbarium" and it is software that the NY Bot. Garden scientists use to catalog specimen data. Apparently it can also be used for free by anyone via the www. Mom and Pop herbariums should be popping up all over the place now.

    Well, the 'posturing' makes a point... of COURSE it was tit-for-tat. But it didnt shame Rangel, Stevens & co.

    Meanwhile - speaking of- Sen Feinstein needs to bitch-slap that idiot Barbara Boxer.. just to keep her mouth shut.

    Oh.. yeah, where have we heard that before?!!! Oh, just Katrina and in Missouri ... and the retractions all were carried on page 26D of the local shopping rags.

    Meanwhile Pete Stark tearfully apologized for his own idiocies of a few days ago, and begged to be left to return to inconsequence.

    Sure thing, Pete... but remember we didnt call you out of it.

    Now I'm patiently waiting for AlGoreacle to chime in... {Just remember Al, class 3 Fire Extinguishers are charged with CO2}

    heh..

    Ooops... there it is. Not Al Gore, but a longhair on, what else, Keith Olbermann.

    It's 'global warming' and it's ALL Dubya's fault.
