Is this the year that a MLS team takes it? Real Salt Lake was so close, but couldn't finish it. Thanks Mo for pointing out on the YA thread that Hercules scored v Seattle in their first leg.

Toronto hosted LA at the Rodgers Center (where the Blue Jays play) instead of their normal home and it was a smart move. Over 47K showed up to see the homeside squander a 2 goal lead. Landon apparently over his sickness and got the tying goal. LA is the one team from up here that has the goods to win.

Seattle beat Santos (despite the Gomez goal) 2-1. You would have to think that Santos will pull it out on the return leg. It's really unfortunate that the MLS teams have to play when they are in preseason form.

Was disappointed to see two MLS teams in the same group. I'd rather them spread out -- more chances of qualifying.
