Mexico is pounding the crap out of Costa Rica 3-0 and Honduras beat T&T 4-1. What does thi mean? The US is in 2nd behind Honduars on goal difference and Mexico will be tied on points with Costa Rica. 4 teams will be within 1 point of each other. Problem? The US only won 2-1 against El Salvador. In other words, they need to start picking up maximum points in order to avoid goal dfference.

Brazil beat Argentina so it's looking good that they could be in 5th which means avoiding 4th is a must for any CONCACAF team.

Keep in mind 24 that our GD is better than El Tri by 2 and Costa Rica by 7. The Ticos have been crushed twice in a row and after looking in control now appear to be the team in trouble.

I know, but the Ticos should pick up maximum points in their next 2 games. Plus, I really think that if the US plays this way in San Pedro Sula, the doal difference is going to tumble below Mexico's. Maximum points in Port of Spain is a must.
