    Hope springs eternal, Don...

But, ask Tom {I guess I'll never stop crowing about this*}, if you want to look at CJ's probable future prospects just look up what Jeff Cunningham is doing right now.

The problem is that a player with a great talent and an ego-centric attitude will never understand that he is his own worst enemy. The team concept is only seen as how they can best work around him.

That's how JC is on his third team, Toronto, since the Crew traded him despite him being a leading scorer, then the Rapids did, then RSL did.

    * Sitting next to Tom at 2005 MLS All-Stars, as JC comes into the game: "Watch this.. JEff will get two goals."

"No, Tom.. we dont want him, we already have CJ."

I can second what Pettyfog is saying. The two players are very similar. Both have loads of talent, but their attitudes are what causes the problem.

The worst thing to happen to Collins John was when he came over to Fulham in January of 2004, he scored five or six goals in his first few months and probably got the idea that he was the man when in actuality he was not. He probably figured he would just be inserted into the lineup on a regular basis without working on his game and of course that did not happen.

    Good luck to Collins.

This can only be a good thing...for both Fulham and John. He needs to play and lets hope he does a great job there. Either which, we will sell him or he will produce for Fulham.

I personally hope he stays a White and produces for us. Good Luck Collins.

Yes, lets hope it works out and we end up with a productive young striker three months from now. We need it. Good luck CJ
