Bud Am Ale

    Has anyone tried the highly advertised Budweiser American Ale? Is it any good? I have been known to drink water rather than drink either Bud or Bud [yeeeeech] Light, but I'm wondering if their new Belgian owners have infused a little "real ale" mentality into the brand.

    Don't know, Cork; I haven't been in the Lion. You wouldn't have tasted it anyhow; it's not black.

    tried it the other day b/c it was $2 for a 20 oz draft. have to go with 'mo on this one = bad.

    I'm convinced, two-thirds of the Kezar Krew and ClevelandMo should be enough to convince anyone.

    I think the Bud American Ale is ok. I think its one of the better beers from the big American three (I know there all owned by foreigners). Still if there is something else available I'm probably going to get that.

    I'm not anti-Bud...I like traditional Bud can. But, I don't like Bud Am Ale in the least, however maybe the tap was bad (unlikely), but maybe...

    Do we need to revive the Beer Thread? I think so.
