    great choice. love Brownie. maybe he'll rub off on Diop and he'll actually play hard....that is if he's ever fit to play. i'm gonna start calling him Crutchy.

    I like this! He's a workhorse, and he seems passionate about the team and the game (at least on the field; I have no idea what he's reputedly like off of it).

    And he wasn't thrust abruptly into the role either-- the last few outings with him as captain have seemed pretty good.

    Anyone who has been to the Cottage recently when he's worn the armband want to chime in?
