Brighton vs Fulham

Fulham beat Brighton with goals from our very own Clint Dempsey and Alexey Smertin to beat the Seagulls 2-1. :banana: Don't care if it is just a friendly, winning on the road feels good.

Dempsey plays both halves and scores a goal

 

They had highlights of the game on Sky Sports News (on FSC). Diop took the ball about 5 yds from the box and kicked it through a couple of defenders toward Dempsey, who stayed onside and dribbled it around the diving goal keeper and hit it into the net at a tight angle (dribbled from center to right). Nice goal.

 

Yeah I saw that highlight. The Brighton goal was just poor marking. Everyone was going for the ball and they left one Gull open who knocked it home.

 

Good stuff, 2 in a row were on a roll!

That was fantastic. And it makes me want this years home strip even more. Only question? Will they be available in the FUSA Shop?

 

I'll have to take a gander at the Witch's report. According to Mike the deal for the shirts won't work out for this season, but a few members are looking to combine orders in order to make shipping cheaper.

 

My girlfriend went to this match for me. She happened to be in England with her sister, so i made sure she went. She ended up sitting with the Brighton supporters because the ticket person didn't ask her, or maybe she was supposed to speak up, but what can you do, she's new, she's a yank.
