Well, Petty the doctors (researchers) were going back and forth about whether circumcision did infact prevent STDs. I know for this country almost every male born child was circumcised up until the late 80s? But researchers were finding that there was no real evidence to suggest that it was preventing STDs. But now I think parents will go back to getting the doctors performing a little nip after this study.

Yeah... common sense has NO place in modern science. Not like there's no mitigating factor in* US domestic studies on the subject. Do I have to point out what that mitigating factor IS... or do some of you need a road-map?

    * Actually there's TWO mitigators, only one of which relates to soap and water availability.

And you wonder why I diss al {he plays on our fears!} gore and his 'global warming' crap!

    Skirting the edge, here...

The POINT is that this was ALSO noted twenty years ago, how many have died since then.. for ignoring the obvious differences between a study done here and done in Africa..

Which, in all seriousness, has me wondering if your mitigating factors aren't actually more important that what they are claiming is the actual finding here.

If there is a "negligible" percentage of men in the U.S. who are uncircumsized who are getting HIV compared to circumsized men, than the finding is more one of of another factor than one of circumcision.

Circumcision doesn't prevent HIV, as much as being clean(?) does???
