    To Luton?

    On TFI:

Runstrom to Luton for a month -- Nick The Swede - HammyEnd.com, Monday, January 29, 09:25:02pm
So Björn is off to Luton Town for a month (at least), maybe that will be good for him?

    Thoughts?!

Obviously Don will have a strong opinion, but anytime a guy can get some playing time it's probably for the good. I saw a little of the Luton Blackburn game Sat. and they look like they could use him.

Any time a player has the oppertunity to play first team football they should do it. I hope he goes, bangs in the goals and comes and gets his chance. We are going to need strikers next season.

Send DCH's heartthrob 40 miles up the M1? Please. He'll get a chance to play and Luton need him.

He's a good looking kid, but much too young for me. He should get playing time, so send him packing.

Oooooooooh, he'll be jealous of Montella now then.

But seriously, I think it is a good loan move for the youngsta also.

I do believe the Hatters side that played Blackburn were without a few key players. Is that right Don?
He has no chance of breaking into the first team this season. He needs to get some first team action somewhere.

I'm going to watch both his home matches for Luton in February (v Norwich & v Sheffield Wednesday) so I'll let you know how he gets on. I know he's not keen to stay longer than a month so let's hope he makes a big impact and then gets back to Fulham as soon as possible!
    Lycka till Björn :)

Lauren, let's hope he leads the line well and rakes in a few goals -- let's get him in the habit of scoring while wearing black and white.

And, hopefully, you'll be good enough to deliver 6 home points for the Hatters when you do.

Fulham striker Bjorn Runstrom has revealed that he will be joining Luton Town on loan.

The 22-year-old has made just two substitute appearances for The Cottagers since signing from Hammarby in the summer and the arrival of Vincenzo Montella has pushed him further down the pecking order under Chris Coleman.

Clubs from Austria and Italy - where he has previously played for both Chievo and Bologna - were also interested in securing Runstrom on loan.

However the Bedfordshire-based Hatters have won the chase for his signature due to their proximity to the London club.

"I hope I can do something positive for Luton," Runstrom told Swedish media.

"Coleman wondered if I could consider playing for Luton for a while to get some playing time.

"I think Fulham want me to be nearby to be able to check on me."

Luton boss Mike Newell recently strengthened his attack with the capture of Drew Talbot from Sheffield Wednesday, but having sold top striker Rowan Vine to Birmingham, The Hatters are still desperate to bring in new faces to ward off the looming threat of relegation.
