Who do you rate as the biggest punks in the Premier League? You know -- the loudmouths, crybabies, dirty players, or just plain jerks you'd love to see slapped across the head for no reason whatsoever.

IMNSHO, the biggest punks in the EPL, in no particular order:

    Wayne Rooney
    Alan Smith
    Lee Bowyer
Craig Bellamy (okay, so he's in the SPL right now, but he's such a punk that he still qualifies)
    Robbie Savage
    Van Nistelrooy
    Roy Keane

Good question. I will go with the following:

    Roy Keane
    Lee Bowyer
    Claude Makelele
    Alan Shearer
    Robbie Savage
    Tal Ben Haim
    El-Hadj Diouf
    Wayne Rooney
    Jens Lehmann

there are probably others I am missing right now, but those are the ones that come to mind right away.

    Ashley Cole
    Patrick Vieria
    Gary Neville
    Lucas Neill
    Paul Dickov
    Kerimoglu Tugay

I disagree about Roy Keane, I thinks he's probably the best midfielder to play in the premiership ever. However, totally agree about Savage, Bowyer, Neville.

As for sneaky, dirty punks, keep and eye on Berkamp and Van Nistelroy - they both have elbows flying and love to kick at ankles. LeSaux can also be a punk but apparently he's retired now.

Also, how about the player formerly known as Sean Davis?

I disagree about alan Shearer, he's the main dude that played in the england matches when i was a kid...

I would add any player from Blackburn FC and of course any Chelsea Players, and Zat's on my sh!t list right now...

    Quality thread Chicago fan!

Perhaps if I lived in England I would feel the same way, but it seems as though the last few years he just bitches and moans and is always involved in some extra-curricular crap on the pitch. One of the reasons I think he gets away with it is because he is an England legend and he has been around for so long. I just do not like him!

I will not disagree that Roy Keane is not a good player. However, I will say that he always is involved in what I see as dirty play on the pitch. He can be effective a lot, but sometimes if his team is losing or his mind is not in the game, he will just kick someone or make a blatantly bad tackle on someone. He defends his teammates for sure, but at times, I think he gets carried away. This guy will be a manager one day and he will rack up loads of fines from the FA. He just can't control his emotions sometimes.

After seeing his dive in the Community Shield match and then his antics toward the ref after he didn't get the call, I'd add Arjen Robben to the list. And put Frank Lampard on that list while you're at it.
