And not just me... I held off putting my tickets up for sale. Now they have no market value

But the Crew needed a better Galaxy to beat down Chicago and Colorado.

This means the crew MUST beat Col at home this week.

And it hurt MLS immensely. Not because of anything on the field, but none of the clubs are going to refund tickets - and they shouldnt, it's not an exhibition - but there will now be a subconscious bias against those clubs who now wont be able to produce the product they sold.

And in hindsight, I'm sure Beckham knows he should not have gone to Wembley for a meaningless game

I wondered the same thing. I was away for the England-Germany match until the last 10 minutes. Imagine my shock to discover he was still on the pitch. Then imagine my stunned disbelief to see that he was on the pitch for 90 minutes two days and about 9 time zones later.

By the way, this was not Beckham forcing Yallop and McLaren to do anything. They were the ones who selected him and they were the ones who played him full time while nursing an injury. I KNEW McLaren was stupid. I had no idea Yallop was until the CUSA match.

I place blame on the coaches, as Don stated. Becks is too damned proud to know he shouldn't have done all that travelling. But he's a proud Englishman and would run off to play for his country - even if they were only playing Andorra.

I am just praying the get their acts together in LA for next year and really show us what they wanted for this year. Let the man rest and come back and kick the ball in every naysayers face.

I blame it on an unfortunate occurrence that happened just from the game. It's not as if it's his ankle that's the problem, it's his knee. I saw the incident in slow motion and that is just something that just happens in sports. I've seen it in hockey, seen it in football, and now I've seen it in soccer. While fatigue certainly hasn't helped, these sorts of injuries from play happen even at the beginning of the season or in pre-season; or at any other time. There's no one on Pachuca you can blame nor blame any one person/entity for the sprained knee.

    It sucks, but it happens.

Vis a vis LA being a crappy team, you can blame Frank Yallop and Alexei Lalas (I was so glad he was ousted from NY after a season).
