Atlanta Silverback Logo Contest

So the Silverbacks are changing there logo and are accepting fan submissions. I took a stab at it so I could test my skills as a graphic designer. The way the voting is done is by facebook likes. I submitted 3 designs(4 due to an error in illustrator) and if you like them please like them.

p.s.: Still 100% Railhawks fan. I really want to get the attention of the front office and get some part time design work for them.

Good stuff Bob. I'm not sure about that font, but it does work for me on the 2nd one. That one is easily my favorite of your submissions. If I were ranking them, it'd be #2, #1 then #3. #3 is a bit letter heavy and design light.

I'd "like" them for you but I don't facebook. Speaking of, some of those commenters on facebook are brutal.

The 3 "poker chip" looking designs were done by a "professional firm" While the bottom left design was the fan's pick. I'm not a fan of any of them, but if I have to choose, I'll take the fan made in bottom left corner for the win.

 

I prefer choice #2 of yours Bob than any of the finalists. Utterly despise the upper left logo, maybe because the 'professional' design firm took Arizona State's baseball logo and changed the colors (wonder how much they charged for that :roll
