My Announcement

Well, if you are going to ask then I must tell, but as I've told Tom, the reason I never put this on the board was because I never use this site for personal reasons outside of Fulham. With that said...

I am moving to England on Tuesday, July 18th and will be a permanent resident of that wonderful country until I decide to move back in probably a year and a half or 2 years.

This will not effect my involvment in FulhamUSA but, in fact, I feel it will actually help us grow by leaps and bounds in the next year. Tom will be handling much of the stateside issues and I will be communicating with the club regard the trips over, hospitality, tickets etc. So should you be a Fulham fan and taking trip to London, I will do what I can to make your stay that much more comfortable.

My apologies for not putting it sooner but I felt 'strange' announcing it on the board...I'm not more important than anyone else here. Our FulhamUSA trip to the Cottage this year will go even more smoothly this year with me there...

Cheers Simon for starting the thread and hope to see you at the Cottage this season..I have a season ticket in hand already and will be happy to acquire any ticket for ANY FulhamUSA member.

Congrats on the move. I grew up (first 18 years of my life) in Shepperton, a small place near Staines and Walton. Hope you enjoy your time there, and don't get too many more 90°F+ days without a/c!!!

Good luck Mike! I only hope that MrsJux and I can join the group this year on the trip to the Cottage. She's trying to get me to apply for a job with my company's plant over there (less than 40 miles from SW6).

Thank you guys, its much appreciated and will of course meet anyone of you should you make the hop over.

I'm living in Surrey which will be an easy train ride to SW6 and when we start finalizing plans for the FulhamUSA trip, I'll do as much as I can in the way of advice.

I'll be honest, I'm a bit nervous and overwhelmed by it all but I just can't wait to get to my new home and settle down. FulhamUSA will keep me busy until the season starts and by then I hope to have 90% of the new site stuff done and also have our trip mainly planned.

I'll be on the site daily as usual...well until the jet lag wears off.

Thanks again for the words of encouragement...flight leaves in 6 1/2 hours. :banana:

Congrads on the big move! The type of thing lots of people think about but never follow through.

 

Holy Freaking Moses....you lucky guy....get to be w/ your girl in a land of soccer... I mean football...how great is that, you can say that w/out getting a weird look! My girlfriend that is in LOVE with London is very jealous when I told her, she is applying for jobs all over London...but I'm glad you get to do this and hope all the best for ya....

p.s. but what will you do w/out MLS matches live and in demand :3d laughing:
