Good for him. Slight correction, though.. said nothing about horse balls.

Stag testicles are from male adult {usually fully antlered} members of family Cervidae {looked it up} Deer which includes all deerlike including Elk, Moose and Reindeer.

Dang, thanks for the correction 'fog. I knew that, but somehow "horse" came out of my fingers instead of deer. Haha.

I am absolutely in awe at this statement. It seems like a joke, but I guess it isn't.

Perhaps the "ballsiest" thing ever said by an owner, and maybe the most honest. But, do we need or want this??

Whether "we" want this or don't, MAF is his own man and does not worry about negative responses by the government or the press -- it's all he ever gets.

I like a guy with clankers, and MAF has titanium ones.

I've heard you Texans respond well to this kind of tough talk.

Bet you'd love to head down to the saloon for a whiskey with MAF, and afterwards go punch some donkeys. That'll learn 'em.

So Mo, tell us what you really think.

If it wasn't on the official site, I would think it was a wind up.

As much as I think he is a crude man, he is so right on this. To me the dramatic relegation fights are worth just as much, if not more, than watching the talent of the top four. The bottom teams deserve more of the pie.

it's funny how the tide changes?

it wasnt so long ago that certain people on this site was giving MAF a hard time cos he didnt plough lots of money into the Transfer market.

Now I guess you all know why.

Couldn't agree more here. Glad that he came out and said what he was feeling, but kinda makes you wondering if he should find a safer outlet for his anger than the press. LOL

Make no mistake, when you look at the whole of his last ten years in the public eye, he loves the combat.
Humans are an ornery lot.. doing what you feel is right is worth the grief.

"the Premier League and the FA are run by donkeys who don’t understand business"

Someones got to use this for their signature! I can't believe that. Greatest owner ever.

    Quotes from our beloved owner

pulled these from the BBC website...

"How can it be right for top players to be earning £15-20m a year? It's crazy. These wages need to be capped. But I worry that it won't happen because the Premier League and the FA are run by donkeys who don't understand business, who are dazzled by money.''
Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed, clearly one for sitting on the fence when it comes to discussing players' wages.

"I want to help other clubs. I speak my mind and other chairmen should too. In fact, they can come and have lunch with me at Harrods, where I can serve them stags' testicles from my Scottish estate. We all need big balls in this business.''
Al Fayed presents his fellow-chairmen with an offer they can't refuse.

Served as good reason for a 'bump' O'S...

I retitled the topic for clarity
