Probably have a ways to go before seeing the real deal, but it looks like they leaked a hint this morning on twitter and it looks like it has an ode to the 1975 FA Cup Final team.

Bringing back a collar for the first time since 07/08, my first following Fulham. I'm generally not sentimental about such things, but I like this.

It'll be interesting to see if they'll still be a) adidas and b) Marathonbet logo'd. Pretty sure they'll still be adidas, even though we don't know how long the contract with them is. We just finished our second season with Marathonbet, and there's supposedly an option for a third. The question is, who's option is it, and what triggers it? They might be tired of our second tier status already, so a change there is more likely. But so far, so good.

Does that collar look navy blue to anyone else? Is that what the 1975 team wore?

It took me a good three hours to figure out what you were referring to.

    Touché sir.

But really, I hope the collar is black, not navy, and definitely not gold.

That's good HD, I can now ask for a hint without being embarrassed.

Speaking of 1975, can't go wrong in posting the highlights of the last time Fulham won at Goodison Park, the FA Cup Semi-Final:

I like it a lot too, but seriously, that close-up looks navy blue. You can see in the photo of the FA Cup, it didn't matter back in 1975 when every thing was still black and white - you could get away with it. But this is the 21st century and things have been in color for a while now and this won't cut it. My wife will tell you, never go with me to the mall when I want to buy black pants because I have a very narrow threshold for what qualifies as black and you'll loose a bit of your soul as I try to explain the difference between two shades of black. That collar my friends is not black. And neither is that photo of that damn dress!

I'm with ya Micah. And I for one will not be too pleased if Adidas continues to provide us with kits that aren't our colors!

As one of the most important parts of a sponsor’s association with any football club is its place on the front of the shirt that the fans wear, the Club has decided that to give maximum impact to the new sponsor’s official partnering announcement, that it is going to delay the unveiling of next season’s new kit until a unilateral reveal can take place.
I just want a new shirt.

To me this reads as: "We screwed up coordinating the launch and need to postpone it." But maybe I'm being too cynical.

I'm hopeful this sponsor will be a little bit more impressive than "Marathon Bet"

Still waiting... They best get something out soon. There's only 17 days until the opening match (which means after international shipping, we might get a jersey by Christmas)

I'm willing to be patient for a sponsor with a decent logo. Wasn't a big fan of MarathonBet, but some of the others in the Championship last season were downright awful, to wit: my personal favorite from Derby... derbky kit.JPG

Given the way the clubs statement from last week read, it would be a big disappointment if the new sponsor wasn't a fairly large, respectable company. Given our American ownership, I'd also be surprised if it wasn't an American company. Maybe American Airlines who has sponsored us in the past (not shirt sponsor though).

Regardless, this is taking way too long to launch.

I'd say Flex-N-Gate might be a fallback option but I think that might violate FFP.
