    This is a BOLD Statement:

Fulham forward Bobby Zamora believes that age is catching up with Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro and that he might find some success against the 36-year-old in their Europa League second-leg match on Thursday evening.

We need a small miracle, but after seeing the great escape a few years ago, I now believe anything is possible

If Brede can't go, having Smalling's speed in the lineup will be good for us if the game goes like I think it will and we're pressing the attack, and they're looking to counter. Pace to keep up with their runners will be critical. A couple of goals by BZ and the Deuce, and a great match from Marky and "we're in bidnes"......

Sitting at the golden lion. Weekday crowd is a bit different to say the least. Bunch of old punters watching the ponies with racing forms in hand. Fulham fans beginning to arrive tho.

My head prediction is starting to move toward the heart now that the second pint has arrived. Few Italians here sporting juve gear.

Crazy thing, I ran into a friend I have not seen since my SFA university years who just happens to live in Wimbledon about 4 tube stops south of putney bridge. Very, very random and is going coming back up to meet me for a drink.

Overcast and windy. Temps in the high 50s.

    Coyws!

OK Own up who's writting this?

1844: Juventus cannot cope with Bobby Zamora. That is a sentence I thought I would never type. He has been unstoppable tonight, mind. Less than two minutes to go to half-time and the Italian giants are hanging on.

1814: Bobby Zamora is still keeping the Juventus defence on their toes, finding space to run on to Chris Baird's searching ball over the top... but there is just too much on it and it runs out of play. Unlucky.

From Arise Sir William Prunier on 606: "What a game! Juventus are being played off the park by Fulham at the moment. Great stuff. Come on Fulham!"

From the_real_machu on Twitter: "This game has made me sit up, if Zamora scores another, Capello might be forced to do the same. Come on Fulham!"

What a surprise the Italians kicking out I am shocked!!!!

    1951: FULL-TIME Fulham 4-1 Juventus (agg 5-4)

1949: About a minute of injury time left at Craven Cottage. Felipe Melo is the latest Juventus player to kick out in anger, taking a swipe at Bobby Zamora... this time he gets away with it.

Juventus are down to nine men now. Jonathan Zebina kicks out in frustration at Damien Duff on the touchline, and is rightly given his marching orders.

Though I read often, it has been almost 2 years since I posted (ans was last at the Cottage). But today deserves a special post:

    WAY TO GO FULHAM! Dempsey!

While everybody else if following the NCAA scores (including me), my eyes have been attached to Soccernet.

Martin, good to see a Tennessean post. Though I live in the Mid-Atlantic now, I am from Tenn and lived for a while in Nashville.

One of the most inspiring things I've ever seen in my 51 years on earth. FULHAM YOU ROCK!!!!
My boy Demps with an absolute moment of brilliance! How many players on earth have the vision and touch to hit that ball, in a game of that magnitude with it all on the line??!!!!!
