Those of you with FSC PLUS will be able to watch this LIVE at 0925 Eastern/0825 Central. Those of us without will have to settle for the dulcet tones of GJ.

Not interested in lineups or predictions at this point, so much as I'm interested in getting the TV coverage information out ASAP.

FYI -- We turn our clocks ahead but England doesnt this weekend, so we'll be just 4 hours behind Fulham for the next few weeks. Hence the odd start time.

If we can shut down Rooney (I know, tough... but still) I think a 0-0 is entirely plausible.

After the whoopin' the lads put on ManUre last time I'm afraid it'll be payback time. The captain needs to be back on the pitch for any chance to sneak a point. I'll be curious how Roy handles Clint and Konch.

I get it at work, but that is only because I am in the same building as FSC.

in the forlorn hope that Pettyfog might read this and change the next match information in the left column.

Really the broadcast channel and time are confirmed on FSC's website.

    That sucked.

We played well in the first half, and I went to the break thinking that we could get somehting from this. The first goal was kind of flukey, but the definition of a great team is that those kinds of things seem to happen to them.

Murphy's game has slipped noticeably in the last month, I am worried for him. Davies is no longer a viable option for a whole game either. Shame really, Father Time is harsh to us all.

Chat room was good, with the exception of my keyboard that was acting screwy, sorry for the random 2-3 letter posts, it wasn't my intention. Terri, I enjoyed your rants though :)

As an aside, about the girls liking soccer rant that you had, yesterday I went to the Claddagh and sitting at the other end of an uncrowded bar was a female West Ham supporter, Cleveland accent and all. Well, her taste in teams was highly questionable, but we can put all that aside, so about 4-5 of us started conversing and listening to her gripe about her team getting abused by They Who Will Not Be Named.

At one point, she made a joke about their not being anyone within 2-3 chairs of her, just making big gestures and saying "I... just... need my... space". I looked at her and said loudly,"Gee, and all of this time I thought it was your total absence of personal hygiene."

She was nice enough to laugh at this (humorously untrue) comment. Nothing like busting the chops of a footy supporter that you have never seen before.

The defending needs to be better on the first goal and Zamora deserves to run a few laps for letting everybody catch up to him on his chance. Flat game and I'm not sure how we're going to handle the boatload of matches coming up.

We gave them everything they could handle in the first half, but Brede's injury was key - it was a major contributor to their first goal. After that, after getting back home from Italy on Friday, we just didn' t have it in us. Even SAF would admit the scoreline flattered them.

Think of it this way; on aggregate, we tied ManU.

didn't expect much, but fulham split with man utd overall, which is nice.

[i was more disappointed with my tivo operation as my boy and i flipped on the tv to watch the match via tape delay, but happened to catch the very end of the live broadcast and saw the score - damn daylight savings time!!]

I think I blame Don for more than that.

The deficit, overcooked eggs, my students acting crazy, my dog's bad breath, Danny Murphy's hairline, the list goes on.

There wasn't much good in the match, so I'm choosing to take away what I learned.

I learned our back four was already jumbled and when we replaced Hangeland with Baird, it was too weak to hold up to one of the most expensive frontlines in football.

I learned despite their exorbitant payroll and claims that they're not arrogant (the sign was right by the way, the club aren't bad, it's the fans that are classless *&#^s), all ManU could do was pull a draw with a tired, injured Fulham on aggregate.

I learned if you are condescending to Terri, you'd best keep a lid on your beer.

All in all, an educational Sunday, even if the football wasn't that enjoyable.
