    Huh?!!!!

Actually compared, Ajax had a GD of 86 to Twente's 40. No idea where '100' came from. Maybe it was 'in all competitions'
But I can see how that surplus of '86' might have looked good to MAF.

would love to have Jol and would definitely be interested to see who he brings in. hopefully he signs quickly as being without a manager for this long is fucking annoying.

one could hope the Bradley rumours are a cruel joke the media made up.

Kleb looked painfully slow during his time with Arsenal. One thing about athletes, they don't get faster.

I've noticed that SSN only lists Greening and Senderos as our "signed players." This tells me that Sidwell is not in the fold yet. I'm sure both he and the incoming manager have some sort of last minute veto. Until we get a coach identified, we're going to be left with the scraps in the transfer market. Considering how old our squad is, we need a massive infusion of youngish talent or we're for the drop in the next three seasons.

Completely agree with your last statement, Don. Spot on and really, im even worried about this season as players like Duff and Hughes could do what Murphy did last season. That is, start to look old.

I'd take Hleb, especially over Kleb.

Some speed on the wings would be nice. Any ideas on who that would be, in mid or back?

I can't find the article anymore, but that is basically it. The final deal is pending the signing of a manager in case Sidwell or the manager doesn't want the other.

can something positive happen for Fulham? Ever since the Europa Final, i feel like every headline i've seen is negative. I'm getting very scared.

It's an absolute farce that we haven't been able to parlay our recent success into tangible improvements in staff/players/ higher profile tours/preseason games. We run the risk at this point of being a one-hit wonder that nobody remembers. Is it too early to panic? Maybe Sven comes in, makes a couple of shrewd signings, and we have a great, Top 10 season? Please?

Rumor in the English papers is that Sidwell is waiting to find out who the new manager is before he completes the deal.

Elia. I wish we had signed him Den Haag. Lots of speed and has experience at the top levels of football.

I'm worried about Dempsey. The club didnt even mention it when he returned as they did with the other regulars and Pants. He is not up in Sweden; Pants isnt either but he just returned. I hope the club doesnt try to cash him in as a result of his agent and the interest rumours. He will struggle to start at a better club, I think. He may be able to prove them wrong as he did more than once at Fulham, but it's a risk so I'd rather he just stay.

Ms Maureen, I asked the same question over on FofF earlier today when the lineups for the match in Malmo were announced. Etuhu started, just as De-KOSH-weigh did in the previous match. Here's the exchange:

To which I got this response:

The only thing that concerns me about this is that AJ is supposedly in the states having his knee seen to.

That was almost 2 weeks ago. He wasn't going back under the knife, just getting a checkup on the knee. Perfectly reasonable to assume he'd be back in London at this point.

Actually, this is just the nature of professional football in Europe and England. Fulham isn't a big club and won't ever be. I mean, we're not even in any European competition this year. It is what it is and Fulham is Fulham.

    Just enjoy.
